This site deals with the scriptural grounds for gathering, and cuts away the cant and bigotry put up by those who have crept in unawares. Beware their wares. I'll tell you about them. Go to ; www.morewaymarks.blogspot.co.uk Contact me, Ron Smith at waymarks@ntlworld.com

Homeopathy is a form of Spiritism.
The following is from an email distributed by David Cloud in 2009.
“HOMEOPATHY IS DANGEROUS! It is quite contrary to the teaching of the Word of God. It willingly favours healing through substances made dynamic, that is to say, charged with occult forces. Homeopathic treatment is the fruit of a philosophy and religion that are at the same time Hinduistic, pantheistic and esoteric.
“The occult influence in homeopathy is transmitted to the individual, bringing him consciously or unconsciously under demonic influence. ... It is significant frequently to find nervous depression in families using homeopathic treatments” (Homeopathy Examined, translated from French by Marvyn Kilgore, 1984).
*****
Intelligent Christians will be aware of this by now. There is plenty of informationn on the subject.
Homeopathy derives from Hinduism.
Those who practice this may declare it works but so does Jujitsu, Black Magic and beer. A twisted pantheistic view of deity develops.
My view is that the practioners of homeopathy are not suitable for church fellowship.
Almost all forms of alternative medicine are tainted with spiritism. Read up on it.

Good Marketing by the Dublin Brethren?
What is the purpose of the Special Meetings? It appears that Christians through the ages have helped to make the world a more comfortable place. The Rathmines promotional is to impress the public that Christians have played their part in improving the world. Some of those listed on the reverse of this leaflet would have known nothing of Biblical salvation. This may be why the word "gospel" is omitted from the leaflet apart from a reference in very small print at the bottom right.
The initiated will learn from the Rathmines Gospel Hall website that these are to be Gospel Meetings. But as nobody with any conviction of sin is likely to attend, no need to tell them what it is about. The Brethren gospel does not relate to the Gospel of the New Testament in any case.
These Brethren should read "This Little Church went to Market" by Gary Gilley. It is sub-titled, "Is the modern church reaching out or selling out?" Believers are not out to sell themselves. Paul boasted he did nothing else but to preach Christ crucified. The world murdered him, as they did with all the Apostles.
The Christian attitude to the world was expressed by the Lord in John 15: 19,
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
The man who had great influence on the world was Tyndale. He gave us the English Bible. The world murdered him for his troubles.
What is special about Eugene Higgins? I have listened to him a couple of times. We have corresponded by email. He edits the Magazine "Truth and Tidings" and I pointed out to him that his assistant had given false in the magazine concerning the background of the Authorized Bible. His assistant David Oliver has since departed.
